DIALOGUE, MONSTER, SCHOOL (DLM)
I think those that took part in this special competition enjoyed the challenge, but bearing in mind the number of entries it was not everyone's cup of tea! I will continue to try different ideas occasionally, but I will put this particular one on the back burner for a good while!
That said there were some truly Olympian efforts.
Our runaway Gold Medal winner is John Nicholson – his first win after a couple of previous podium finishes. Very well done John, especially as you held off the man very much in form over the build up to the Olympics – and by that wide margin.
Superb consistency continued by Mike Baker in gaining that Silver, just holding off John Tozer who snatched Bronze. The CCCWC being superior to the actual Olympics (!), we also award a Tin medal to Tim Moorey, and a Pewter to Don Manley.
As often is the case, an Olympic challenge has brought out the very best performances, thank you to all who took part in this "different" challenge – I can barely wait four years till the next one!!
