JUSQU'AUBOUTISTE
With a clue word like this it was always going to be a battle of the anagrams. As it happened we had the most convincing winner in a long while. Very well done Richard – good to see you back in the fray with a superb clue that was almost universally praised.
Second spot went to John A. who just headed the rest of the pack to achieve his second podium finish of the year.
You cannot keep a good man down and the form "horse" still managed a third place – well done Mike.
Two stalwarts completed the placings, so congratulations to John T. and David for maintaining their consistency.
A very big thankyou to everyone for their efforts on what was a very challenging clue word – I am sure David Dare-Plumpton is up there somewhere looking down on us with a big smile upon his face!
