A Christmas List (Anagram)

I think it's fair to say that a good deal of fun was had with his competition! Most entrants seemed to appreciate the festive deviation from normal cluing and most judges enjoyed the different challenge. Whether you loved or hated it, this type of challenge will not pop up very often…I think John and I expected, and had our fill of pizza and jazz, so kudos to those that managed to utilise those zeds differently. I particularly enjoyed the comment – related to clue 16 – that 'we need to see the pictures!'. Sadly our camera was broken in the melee that ensued during the Twister competition at the CCCWC Christmas party. Never mind, there's always next year…I remember, back in the day when I used to compete and judge in the competition myself that I would often try and guess the authors of particular clues…I don't think I ever once got it right! So it proved in this exercise; nobody correctly guessed that clue 34 was John's…

Congratulations to Bhalchandra, whose list was chosen as the best, no space to mention the rest with Annual Result to follow…
