Your challenge for April is a LETTERS LATENT clue to MOONSHINE by the closing date of MIDNIGHT UK TIME (BST) SATURDAY 2nd MAY.
 
Your LETTERS LATENT clue to MOONSHINE should contain a definition of the unmutilated word, but the subsidiary indication should refer to the word with one letter (of your choice) missing wherever it occurs.
 
For instance, if you choose O as your latent letter, then as well as defining MOONSHINE, your clue must contain a subsidiary indication that leads to MNSHINE. If N is your latent letter then the subsidiary indication must lead to MOOSHIE, and so on.
