Comments on the clue
1.An amusing surface reading and this is succinct,rhymes and scans, though Peter and Nancy (for the DLM)have little relevance.
2.Fits the bill but doesn't 'pay homage' as some others do, so they get a preference.
3.Fun and nicely constructed. Couch for word maybe a stretch? And DLM padding would ideally not be before and after definition?
