A close run thing this month, with a newcomer to the podium arriving in style – straight into a first place! Well done Tim – a very clever clue!
 
A more familiar podium inhabitant in second – John T maybe showing signs of a return to his traditional form!
 
Our mystery man ysteverany shows that last month's 2nd was no fluke, following up with a 3rd – keep up the good work!
 
Simon starts to reproduce some of his recent Azed form by taking 4th spot – could be the one to watch out for!
 
Final podium spot goes to a tie with Dave H, also placed for the second month running, and Paul C maintaining his good form for this year.

Please award FIVE points maximum to the clue you judge best: FOUR points for second, THREE for third, TWO for fourth, down to ONE point for fifth; but otherwise you may distribute your votes as you see fit including ½ marks for split voting – as long as you award no more than 15 points IN TOTAL and no more than 5 points to any one clue…
 
…and of course you may NOT VOTE for your own clue!

Your challenge for JUNE is a STANDARD CRYPTIC clue to FLESH POT(5,3) by the closing date of MIDNIGHT BST MONDAY 1ST JULY.
 
Remember that whilst you are composing (and pondering) your clue effort, the entry interface allows you to "Save but don't submit". But even if you "Submit this clue" you are still able to amend – or even retract – your entry right up until the end.
