1.	I do not think you can use lower-case 'turkey' to clue TR
2.	For TR, "Turkey" should be capitalised.
3.	I like it. Excellent surface reading.
4.	Perfectly OK cryptically and wrt surface reading, but lacking "sparkle"

Comments on the competition

My picks: 24 gets 5 points 2 gets 4 points 43 and 44 are virtually identical!!! Each gets 2 points 32 gets 1.5 points (for ingenuity in surface) 15 gets 0.5 points Merit list: 8,9,16,19,26,28,37

I felt that clue no's 1, 16, 26, 37 and 38 stood out from the rest, but I was unable to pick an outright winner.
